BPD 2004 EVENT DETAILS
The best practices day conference was held for the third time on 07th October 2004 and the event proceedings witnessed a slight albeit important modification during this year. The event management team had accumulated a lot of feedback during the past two conferences and after sifting through the comment and suggestion archives, we were able to conclude that there was a dire need to include a panel discussion in the conference. The purpose of this segment was to invite a group of business specialists to discuss and share their thoughts on a business topic in a moderated group discussion followed by a quick round of questions and answers. The panel discussions were held simultaneously side by side with the speaker session, which in the past had been the event’s main attraction.

The conference kicked off in the ostentatious halls of Karachi Sheraton Hotel at 12:30 PM with the registration process and this year’s conference saw a surge of on spot registrations. The inaugural sessions comprised speeches by the organizers and lead sponsors who spoke about the merits of the conference. The day’s proceedings were marked by presentations from a varied range of speakers that shed light on some of the most pressing issues confronting senior managers and business executive.
