BPD 2002 EVENT DETAILS
21st November 2002 - first
best practices day conference started off with a
vision of becoming an epitome of corporate knowledge
sharing in Pakistan.
The year 2002 had witness the inception
and birth of the Best Practices Day. Organized by Sidat
Hyder Morshed Associates, BPD 2002 was an event that served
as a platform for successful business practitioners with
the notion of sharing business best practices and recognizing
corporate excellence.
The conference arena shadowed the theme “learning
through sharing” which aptly incorporated
the essence and vision behind this pioneering event. The
event instigated at 12:30 PM with the registration of
the delegates. Following registration, at 12:45 PM was
the inaugural session which instilled the notion behind
“Best practices day” and
signified its virtues. The day’s proceedings were
marked by stimulating presentations from a varied range
of speakers hailing from different sectors and organizations
sharing their best practices. At 6 PM the event came on
the road to wrap up with a concluding session which recapitulated
the day’s event and expressed gratitude to the attendants
for their presence.
The encouraging feed back and appreciation by delegates
who were dazzled by the thought provoking speaker sessions
made it amply clear that the conference was tremendously
successful and its vision had been embraced and well received
by the corporate sector of Pakistan.
