Project Engineer

Purpose of the Job

To work under the direction of Senior Engineer in the development of the pipeline routes, perform design calculations and develop pipeline alignments with CAD designers. Communicate and coordinate the acquisition of road, railroad, and water crossing permits. Perpare material specifications for pipe, valves, fittings and fabricated assemblies Develop construction specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Development /Evaluation of design basis of pipeline, optimization, construction and review of engineering specifications as per applicable standards.

  • Partcipate and assist in Pipeline Route Design, Evaluation/Optimization and Alignment.

  • Review and Finalize Alignment Sheets, Pipeline Typical drawings, Special Point Drawing for pipeline crossing, Geohazard maps, Revenus maps, Topographic survey and mapping.

  • Review and analyze Cost Eslimated, Availability Study, Logistic Study of Corrosion Erosion Mitigation and Monitoring, Specification Pipeline Construction, Seismic and Fault report, Specification of Painting & Coating.

  • Reveiw and analyze Feasibility Study, Security Study, site investigation, geological and hydro geological study, Project Risk Analysis and Mitigation Strategy and soil investigation reports.

  • Assist and analyze HSE plans, project quality assurance plan, social and environmental impact assistant resettlement policy framework, quality risk analysis, SIL study, HAZID/HAZOP according to applicable international standards.

  • Any other task assigned by the competent authority, as and when required.

    Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience in study of FEED for gas pipelines and related facilities .

  • Experience in pipeline route selection.

  • Experience in Engineering of design of gas pipeline projects.

  • Experience in piping facbrication, installation and commissioning activites.

  • Have knowledge o SEIA report HSE plan for pipeline and compressor stations as per application international standards.

  • Have experience of related software's preferably project management software.
